Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has released the foreign exchange rates for Tuesday, with the US dollar remaining unchanged while several other major currencies have seen an uptick in value.

The US dollar is trading at a buying rate of NPR 137.37 and a selling rate of NPR 137.97. This rate has remained stable for the past three days.

Notably, on Magh 25, the US dollar reached its highest recorded value in the Nepali market, with a buying rate of NPR 139.83 and a selling rate of NPR 140.43.

Similarly, the euro has appreciated, with today’s buying rate at NPR 156.46 and the selling rate at NPR 157.14, up from Monday’s rates of NPR 156.06 and NPR 156.74, respectively.

Similarly, the British pound has also increased in value. It is being traded at a buying rate of NPR 181.27 and a selling rate of NPR 182.07, compared to yesterday’s rates of NPR 179.70 and NPR 180.49.

The Australian dollar has also gained slightly, with a buying rate of NPR 86.87 and a selling rate of NPR 87.25. On Monday, it was valued at NPR 86.36 for buying and NPR 86.74 for selling.

The Kuwaiti dinar has seen a marginal increase, trading at a buying rate of NPR 447.93 and a selling rate of NPR 449.89, up slightly from the previous day’s rates of NPR 447.91 and NPR 449.87.

Likewise, the Bahraini dinar is now being exchanged at a buying rate of NPR 364.43 and a selling rate of NPR 366.02, slightly higher than yesterday’s NPR 364.38 and NPR 365.97.
