BAGMATI: Chairperson of the CPN (Maoist Centre) and former Prime Minister, Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, has said a campaign launched by his party for social justice, good governance and economic prosperity is becoming successful.
Chair Dahal said it while inaugurating the ‘Bagmati Gold Cup Football Tournament’ at Martyrs Memorial Stadium at Bagmati rural municipality-4 in Makawanpur district today.
He mentioned, “We have launched a nationwide campaign for building unity. The campaign has raised new hope across the nation.”
The party is always for good governance, social justice and economic prosperity, he argued, seeking cooperation from party cadres.
Chair Dahal further said development of sports is significant to make citizens healthy and make country known to the international arena. The local governments should pay attention to it, he reminded.
A total of 10 teams—seven of ‘A Division Club’ and three from mofussil– are participating in the tournament.
