Ruling parties’ meeting going on in Baluwatar



KATHMANDU: The meeting of the ruling coalition is going on now. Top leaders of the ruling parties are attending the meeting at Prime Minister’s residence.

Nepali Congress President and former prime minister, Sher Bahadur Deuba; Prime Minister and CPN UML Chairman, KP Sharma Oli; UML Senior Vice Chairman, Ishwor Pokhrel; Vice Chairman of NC, Purna Bahadur Khadka; Chairman of Janata Samajbadi Party, Ashok Kumar Rai; Chairman of Loktantrik Samajbadi Party, Mahanth Thakur; Chairwoman of Nagarik Unmukti Party; Ranjita Shrestha; and Vice Chairman of Janamat Party, Abdul Khan, among others are in the discussion.

The issues featured in the discussion are the effectiveness of government and parliament activities.

Earlier on Friday, the high level political mechanism comprising leaders from NC and UML had held a meeting.
