Kathmandu Valley’s minimum temperature drops to 5°C



KATHMANDU: The minimum temperature in Kathmandu Valley has fallen to 5.0 degrees Celsius, according to the Weather Forecasting Division, which released the data at 8:45 am today (Sunday).

Yesterday, Saturday, the Valley recorded a minimum temperature of 5.3 degrees Celsius. Colder conditions have been observed across the country over the past few days, including in the valley. The Meteorological Division records both minimum and maximum temperatures daily for various locations.

The lowest temperature of the day represents the minimum, while the highest represents the maximum. Meteorologists note that minimum temperatures are recorded at 8:45 am and maximum temperatures at 5:45 pm.

According to the latest data, Jumla recorded the country’s lowest minimum temperature today at -2.1°C, while Nepalgunj had the highest minimum at 11.6°C.
