Gold price hits all-time high in Nepali market



KATHMANDU: The price of gold in the domestic market has surged to a new record high, climbing by Rs 8,100 per tola on Tuesday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, gold is now trading at Rs 248,500 per tola, the highest level ever recorded in Nepal.

On Sunday, the precious metal was traded at Rs 240,400 per tola. Silver prices have also risen, increasing by Rs 105 per tola to reach Rs 3,325 per tola, the federation said.
