Madhesh Chief Minister Singh seeking vote of confidence today



JANAKPUR: Madhesh Province Chief Minister Satish Kumar Singh is scheduled to seek a vote of confidence in the Provincial Assembly today (Tuesday).

According to Basu Prasad Koirala, Secretary of the Provincial Assembly Secretariat, the assembly meeting has been set for 1:00 PM, during which Chief Minister Singh will table the motion.

The vote is being held in accordance with Article 188 (2) of the Constitution and Rule 143 (4) of the Provincial Assembly Procedure Rules, 2075 BS, as stated in a notice issued by the Secretariat.
