Sabita Bhandari appointed Attorney General



KATHMANDU: Senior advocate Sabita Bhandari has become the Attorney General of Nepal.

Prime Minister Sushila Karki has recommended Bhandari for the position of government legal advisor, the Attorney General.

President Ram Chandra Paudel  has formally appointed her to the role.

With this, Bhandari has become the first female Attorney General in the tenure of Nepal’s first female Prime Minister.
