Prime Minister’s Office at Singha Durbar reduced to ruins

KATHMANDU: The Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers at Singha Durbar now lies in ruins following the Gen-Z protests and subsequent arson on Bhadra 23.

The historic administrative complex, which had already suffered heavy damage during the 1973 fire and the 2015 Gorkha earthquake before being retrofitted and reused, has once again been devastated.

According to officials, the western section of the building has been completely destroyed.
