Gen-Z movement victims to be declared martyrs; families to receive Rs 1 million



KATHMANDU: The government has decided to declare those who lost their lives during the Gen-Z movement as martyrs.

In addition, the interim government will provide Rs 1 million in compensation to the families of the deceased.

The government has also pledged to ensure medical treatment for those injured during the protests.
