Prime Minister Karki assumes office



KATHMANDU: Newly appointed Prime Minister Sushila Karki officially assumed office at Singha Durbar on Sunday.

Prior to taking office, Karki visited Launchaur, where she paid tribute to a martyr by laying a wreath at the statue.

Karki was sworn in on Friday evening, backed by the momentum of the Gen-Z movement. She is expected to announce a small-sized cabinet later today.
