Woman killed in wild elephant attack in Morang



MORANG: A 45-year-old woman was killed in a wild elephant attack in Belbari Municipality-8 of Morang district, local police said.

The victim, identified as Amina Rajbanshi, was attacked by the elephant while she was irrigating her field near her home in the Bansbari area. According to the District Police Office, Morang, she sustained serious injuries in the attack.

Rajbanshi was rushed for treatment but succumbed to her injuries on Sunday during the course of medical care, police confirmed.
