Nepal Rastra Bank sets today’s foreign exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the official foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar has been set at Rs 136.99, while the selling rate is Rs 137.59.

The buying rate for one Euro is Rs 160.14, and the selling rate is Rs 160.84. Similarly, the buying and selling rates for one UK Pound Sterling are Rs 184.94 and Rs 185.75, respectively, while one Swiss Franc is being bought at Rs 171.98 and sold at Rs 172.73.

For other currencies, the buying rate for one Australian Dollar is Rs 90.14 and the selling rate is Rs 90.53. One Canadian Dollar is being bought at Rs 100.06 and sold at Rs 100.50.

The Singapore Dollar stands at Rs 106.99 for buying and Rs 107.46 for selling. The rate for 10 Japanese Yen is Rs 9.29 for buying and Rs 9.33 for selling, while the Chinese Yuan is priced at Rs 19.11 and Rs 19.19 for buying and selling respectively.

The Saudi Riyal is valued at Rs 36.53 for buying and Rs 36.69 for selling, and the Qatari Riyal at Rs 37.58 and Rs 37.75.

Likewise, the Thai Baht is being bought at Rs 4.22 and sold at Rs 4.24. The UAE Dirham has been fixed at Rs 37.30 for buying and Rs 37.46 for selling. For the Malaysian Ringgit, the buying and selling rates are Rs 32.21 and Rs 32.36, respectively.

Similarly, the rate for 100 South Korean Won is Rs 9.93 for buying and Rs 9.98 for selling. One Swedish Kronor is valued at Rs 14.33 for buying and Rs 14.39 for selling, while one Danish Kronor stands at Rs 21.46 and Rs 21.55.

The Hong Kong Dollar is being traded at Rs 17.45 for buying and Rs 17.53 for selling. The Kuwaiti Dinar is priced at Rs 448.12 for buying and Rs 450.80 for selling.

The Bahraini Dinar stands at Rs 363.38 and Rs 364.97, and the Omani Rial at Rs 355.84 and Rs 357.40. The rate for 100 Indian Rupees is Rs 160.00 for buying and Rs 160.15 for selling.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these rates are subject to change and may be revised as needed. It also noted that exchange rates set by commercial banks may differ slightly, and the latest rates can be accessed through the central bank’s official website.
