Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has released the official foreign exchange rates for Saturday. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at NPR 137.44, while the selling rate is NPR 138.04. The euro is being bought at NPR 158.03 and sold at NPR 158.72. The buying and selling rates for one UK pound sterling are NPR 185.96 and NPR 186.77, respectively.

For the Swiss franc, the buying rate is NPR 168.83 and the selling rate is NPR 169.57. The Australian dollar is being bought at NPR 88.94 and sold at NPR 89.33.

Similarly, the Canadian dollar is priced at NPR 100.73 for buying and NPR 101.17 for selling. The Singapore dollar stands at NPR 107.01 for buying and NPR 107.48 for selling.

The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is NPR 9.52, with a selling rate of NPR 9.56. The Chinese yuan is valued at NPR 19.13 (buying) and NPR 19.22 (selling).

The Saudi Arabian riyal has been set at NPR 36.62 for buying and NPR 36.78 for selling, while the Qatari riyal is NPR 37.71 and NPR 37.87, respectively.

Likewise, the Hong Kong dollar is being bought at NPR 17.51 and sold at NPR 17.59. The Kuwaiti dinar stands at NPR 449 (buying) and NPR 450.96 (selling), while the Bahraini dinar is NPR 364.27 and NPR 365.86, and the Omani rial is NPR 356.97 and NPR 358.53.

The exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees has been set at NPR 160 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling.

Nepal Rastra Bank has noted that these rates are subject to change as needed.
