NA meeting taking place today



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the National Assembly (NA) is taking place today at 1:15 p.m. at the Parliament Building in New Baneshwor.

Today’s session will continue discussions on the principles and priorities of the Appropriation Bill for the fiscal year 2082-083, excluding the tax proposal, according to the Federal Secretariat.

Additionally, the meeting will consider a proposal to refer the Constitutional Council (Works, Duties, Powers, and Procedures) (First Amendment) Bill, 2079 to the Legislative Management Committee for clause-by-clause discussion.

This proposal was sent by the House of Representatives to Prime Minister KP Oli.
