Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the official exchange rates for foreign currencies for today (Monday).

The value of the US dollar remains stable, while the exchange rates for currencies such as the British pound, Kuwaiti dinar, and Bahraini dinar have declined. In contrast, the Australian dollar and the euro have seen slight increases.

Today, the buying rate for 1 US dollar is NPR 137.37, and the selling rate is NPR 137.97—the same as the previous two days.

Meanwhile, the euro has slightly appreciated. The buying rate for 1 euro today is NPR 156.06, and the selling rate is NPR 156.74, compared to yesterday’s rates of NPR 156.02 (buying) and NPR 156.71 (selling).

The British pound has weakened slightly. Today’s buying rate for 1 pound is NPR 179.70, and the selling rate is NPR 180.49. Yesterday, the rates stood at NPR 179.78 and NPR 180.57, respectively.

The Australian dollar has strengthened. Today’s buying rate is NPR 86.36, with a selling rate of NPR 86.74. This compares to yesterday’s rates of NPR 85.71 (buying) and NPR 86.09 (selling).

Similarly, the Kuwaiti dinar has dipped slightly. Today’s buying rate is NPR 447.91, and the selling rate is NPR 449.87, down from yesterday’s NPR 448.64 (buying) and NPR 450.60 (selling).

The Bahraini dinar has also seen a minor decrease. The buying rate today is NPR 364.38, and the selling rate is NPR 365.97, compared to yesterday’s NPR 364.42 (buying) and NPR 366.01 (selling).
