Gandaki Provincial Assembly meeting to convene today



KATHMANDU: The Gandaki Provincial Assembly is set to convene today after being postponed from February 3 and rescheduled twice, with the latest date set for February 14.

According to the Provincial Assembly Secretariat, leaders from all political parties are scheduled to address the meeting.

Key legislative matters on the agenda include the amendment of the Provincial Civil Service Act, which will be presented as an ordinance for approval. Additionally, the Industrial Business Act Amendment Bill and a bill concerning the collection of timely taxes will be tabled in the House.

The annual report of the Public Service Commission will also be presented during the session.

This meeting is expected to address crucial legislative updates and policy measures for the province.
