KATHMANDU: The Tharu community and other groups across the country are celebrating Maghe Sankranti today. On this occasion, President Ram Chandra Paudel hosted a greeting exchange program at Sheetal Niwas.
The event was attended by former presidents, the vice president, the prime minister, the speaker, the deputy speaker, ministers, and other high-ranking officials.
As part of the celebration, a feast featuring traditional Maghe Sankranti delicacies such as ghee, chaku, and yam was also organized at Sheetal Niwas on Tuesday.
