Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has announced Tuesday’s exchange rates for foreign currencies.

According to the newly set rates, the value of the US dollar has increased, reaching its highest point so far.

As the US dollar strengthens, the values of other foreign currencies have also risen today.

The buying rate for one US dollar is set at 138 rupees 23 paisa, while the selling rate is 138 rupees 83 paisa.

For other currencies, the fixed rates are as follows: the buying rate for one European Euro is 140 rupees 86 paisa, and the selling rate is 141 rupees 47 paisa.

Similarly, the buying rate for one UK Pound Sterling is 167 rupees 59 paisa, and the selling rate is 168 rupees 32 paisa; the buying rate for one Swiss Franc is 150 rupees 77 paisa, and the selling rate is 151 rupees 42 paisa.

The Nepal Rastra Bank has also set the following rates: the buying rate for one Australian Dollar is 84 rupees 98 paisa, with a selling rate of 85 rupees 35 paisa; and the buying rate for one Canadian Dollar is 95 rupees 80 paisa.

Additionally, the selling rate is 96 rupees 22 paisa; the buying rate for one Singapore Dollar is 100 rupees 56 paisa, with the selling rate at 100 rupees.

The buying rate for 10 Japanese Yen is 8 rupees 79 paisa, and the selling rate is 8 rupees 82 paisa; the buying rate for one Chinese Yuan is 18 rupees 85 paisa, and the selling rate is 18 rupees 93 paisa.

Likewise, the buying rate for one Saudi Arabian Riyal is 36 rupees 82 paisa, and the selling rate is 36 rupees 98 paisa; the buying rate for one Qatari Riyal is 37 rupees 92 paisa, and the selling rate is 38 rupees 8 paisa.
