One killed in elephant attack in Morang



BELBARI: A person was killed in elephant attack at Sundarharaicha of Morang district at 6:30 am today.

The deceased has been identified as Bhavkrishna Ghimire, 60, of Sundarharaicha municipality-12, Biratchowk, said police.

Chief of Area Police Office, Belbari, Police Inspector Rajeev Giri said the elephant had attacked Ghimire at 6:30 am at a time when he was heading towards a local dairy farm to sell milk. Ghimire died on the spot in the incident.
