Weather to remain mainly clear today

KATHMANDU: The country is currently free from any significant weather systems, resulting in stable and mostly clear conditions nationwide, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.

This afternoon, Karnali Province and Sudurpaschim Province are expected to experience partly cloudy skies, while the rest of the country will continue to see mainly clear weather. The Forecasting Division reports that skies across the country are likely to become partly cloudy tonight.

Meteorologists note that such clear and stable conditions are typical during this season, though early mornings and evenings may feel colder due to the absence of cloud cover. Residents are advised to take precautions against increasing winter chill, particularly in high-hilly and mountainous regions.
