Sunita Dangol asks PM Karki to respond to Gen-Z movement’s aspirations

KATHMADU: Kathmandu Metropolitan City Deputy Mayor Sunita Dangol has congratulated newly appointed Prime Minister Sushila Karki, urging her to lead in line with the aspirations of the Gen-Z movement and justice-loving citizens.

In her message, Dangol said Karki’s appointment as Nepal’s first female prime minister was not only a historic and proud moment but also a golden opportunity to lay the foundation of justice, equality, and good governance.

“On behalf of all, I extend heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for a successful tenure. This is not merely a symbolic milestone, it is a chance to rise above the spirit of retaliation and to serve the sentiments of Gen-Z and all justice-loving people,” Dangol said.

She further called on Karki to honor the aspirations of the younger generation and the sacrifices of martyrs, urging her to advance with responsibility and vision.

“I firmly believe that your leadership will replace conflict with dialogue, division with unity, and despair with hope, guiding the nation on the path of good governance,” she added.
