ANFA Women’s League Qualifiers to kick off tomorrow



KATHMANDU: Kathmandu will host the ANFA Women’s League Qualifier from tomorrow.

A total of 14 teams will compete in the qualifiers, with the top five teams earning a spot in the ANFA Women’s League, ANFA spokesperson Suresh Shah announced at a press conference on Wednesday.

Shah confirmed that all preparations for the tournament have been completed. Matches will be held at the ANFA Complex in Satdobato and Chyasal Ground. The 14 participating teams have been divided into two groups.

Group ‘A’ consists of Church Boys United, Chahari Football Club, Rapti FC, Sindhupalchok FC, Student Football Club, RB Resort and Beach Football, and FC Real.

Group ‘B’ features NRT, Sankata FC, Butwal Lumbini FC, NBM Pokhara Girls FC, Jhapa FC, Lamki Football and Training Center, and Nepal Khelkud Club.

The tournament will open with a match between FC Reale and Chhahari Football Club at 1:00 PM.
