Prime Minister inaugurates Ratuwa Bridge on Postal Highway

JHAPA: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli today inaugurated the Ratuwa Bridge, which connects Jhapa and Morang along the Gaurigunj–Ambari section of the Postal Highway.

The inauguration ceremony was organized by the Postal Road Directorate under the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport.

On the occasion, Prime Minister Oli emphasized the need to end the paradox of having rivers near farmland but no irrigation or agricultural productivity. He called for accelerating development and infrastructure projects to eliminate poverty from the country within the next 15 years.

He also urged local governments to serve as role models by modernizing and commercializing agriculture, according to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat.
