Sujan Kadariya elected as ANNFSU President



KATHMANDU: Sujan Kadariya has been elected as the President of the All Nepal National Free Students Union (ANNFSU), a student wing affiliated with the CPN-UML, at the organization’s 24th general convention.

Kadariya secured the presidency by a narrow margin of just 7 votes in the electronic voting held on Thursday. He received 732 votes, while his closest rival, Prakash Poudel, garnered 724 votes.

Other elected office bearers include Bikash Shrestha as the open vice-president and Anjana Siwakoti as the women’s vice-president. Deepak Dhami was elected general secretary with 785 votes.

The four secretaries elected are Akash Gharti Magar, Rachana Sapkota, Samim Babu Khan, and Gopal Nepal.

In the Central Commission, Jit Prasad Sitaula and Prabin Giri were elected as vice-presidents, and Bishal Parajuli as secretary.
