Sudan Gurung calls Gen-Z groups for strategy meeting ahead of elections

KATHMANDU: Sudan Gurung, coordinator of The Council of Gen-Z, has called leaders of three Gen-Z groups for a joint meeting on Wednesday to discuss their strategy ahead of the upcoming elections.

Leaders from Gen-Z Movement Alliance and Gen-Z Front, along with Gurung’s own group, will participate in the meeting. The agenda includes deciding whether the Gen-Z groups will register as separate political parties or unite under a single banner.

This follows a preliminary discussion among the three groups on Tuesday evening. The Wednesday meeting, scheduled in Basantapur at 6 PM, aims to finalize their election strategy and potentially bring all groups under Gurung’s proposed new party.
