One killed in Chitwan road accident



MUGLIN: One person was killed and two others injured in a road accident at Hapni in Ichchakamana Rural Municipality-2 last evening.

According to District Police Office spokesperson Rabindra Khanal, 80-year-old Bir Bahadur Praja of Hapni died when a jeep traveling from Fisling to Hapni met with an accident.

The injured, identified as Karna Bahadur Praja and Bishnu Praja of the same area, have been taken to Bharatpur for treatment.

There were four people in the vehicle, including the driver. Police have taken the driver, Bikash Praja, into custody for further investigation.
