Gen-Z protest at Tinkune, police use force 



KATHMANDU: Police used force against demonstrators demanding that Kathmandu’s Tinkune area be declared “Gen-Z Chowk.”

The Gen-Z 2.0 (All Generations’ Representatives) campaign held the protest without local administration approval, calling for the area to be officially named Gen-Z Chowk.

During the demonstration, police detained three individuals from Tinkune.
