Youth dies in motorcycle accident in Kathmandu



KATHMANDU: A 25-year-old man who sustained serious injuries in a motorcycle accident on the Kapan-Payutar Water Factory road section in Kathmandu has died.

The deceased has been identified as Pasang Mingma Sherpa, a native of Solukhumbu district who was residing in Kapan, Kathmandu, according to Superintendent of Police Naresh Raj Subedi, spokesperson for the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office.

Sherpa was critically injured when the motorcycle he was riding, en route from Paiyutar to Gokarneshwor, collided with an electric pole late last night. He succumbed to his injuries early this morning while undergoing treatment at Kathmandu Medical College.
