Weather expected to remain fair today



KATHMANDU: Weather conditions across the country are expected to remain generally fair today, with no significant weather systems currently influencing Nepal, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.

This year’s monsoon has fully withdrawn from all parts of the country, with the official retreat recorded last Friday.

The Department has stated that while most areas will experience fair weather, partly cloudy conditions are expected in the hilly regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces. There is also a chance of light rain in one or two places within the hilly areas of Koshi Province.

Tonight, the hilly regions of Koshi and Sudurpaschim provinces are likely to remain partly cloudy, while the rest of the country will experience generally clear skies.
