NRB releases Sunday’s foreign exchange rates



 

KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign exchange rates for Sunday. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 141.60, while the selling rate is Rs 142.20.

The buying rate for one European euro is Rs 163.79 and the selling rate is Rs 164.48. Similarly, the buying rate for one UK pound sterling stands at Rs 187.96 and the selling rate at Rs 188.76, while one Swiss franc is being bought at Rs 175.68 and sold at Rs 176.43.

The buying rate for one Australian dollar is Rs 92.78 and the selling rate is Rs 93.18. Likewise, the Canadian dollar is being bought at Rs 101.03 and sold at Rs 101.46, while the Singapore dollar’s buying rate is Rs 109.07 and the selling rate is Rs 109.53.

The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.27 and the selling rate is Rs 9.31. The Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs 19.88 and sold at Rs 19.96. The Saudi Arabian riyal stands at Rs 37.75 for buying and Rs 37.91 for selling, while the Qatari riyal is being bought at Rs 38.85 and sold at Rs 39.01.

According to Nepal Rastra Bank, the buying rate for one Thai baht is Rs 4.33, while the UAE dirham is being bought at Rs 38.55 and sold at Rs 38.71. The Malaysian ringgit has a buying rate of Rs 33.51 and a selling rate of Rs 33.66.

Similarly, the buying rate for 100 South Korean won is Rs 9.96 and the selling rate is Rs 10.00. The Swedish krona is being bought at Rs 14.86 and sold at Rs 14.92, while the Danish krone is being bought at Rs 21.94 and sold at Rs 22.03.

The central bank has also fixed the buying rate for one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 18.20 and the selling rate at Rs 18.27. The Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at Rs 461.16 and sold at Rs 463.11, while the Bahraini dinar stands at Rs 375.57 for buying and Rs 377.16 for selling. The Omani rial has a buying rate of Rs 367.77 and a selling rate of Rs 369.33. The exchange rate for one hundred Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160.00 for buying and Rs 160.15 for selling.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these rates are subject to change at any time if needed. It has also clarified that exchange rates set by commercial banks may differ, and the latest updates will be available on the central bank’s official website.
