Army Chief Ashok Raj Sigdel at President’s residence to finalize interim govt talks



KATHMANDU: Chief of Army Staff Ashok Raj Sigdel visited the President’s official residence, Shital Niwas, on Friday as discussions continue to form an interim government under former Chief Justice Sushila Karki.

Sigdel is participating in talks with the Gen Z movement on behalf of President Ram Chandra Paudel, who also serves as the supreme commander of the Nepal Army.

Sources say that the decisive meeting scheduled for Friday aims to resolve constitutional complexities, paving the way for Karki to take the oath as prime minister.
