Preeti Rai joins Jordan’s Etihad Club



KATHMANDU: Nepal’s national women’s football team midfielder Preeti Rai has signed with Etihad Club in Jordan.

Rai is known for her playmaking skills, sharp vision, and technical brilliance. She began her football journey at a young age, quickly standing out and earning a place at APF Club in Nepal. In 2023, she expanded her horizons by joining Kickstart FC in India, gaining valuable international experience.

Rai made her national team debut in 2021 at just 16 years old. In her debut match against Bangladesh, she scored a stunning goal that earned her Player of the Match honors and played a key role in Nepal’s qualification for the regional finals.

“Here’s to new beginnings and big wins for our Nepalese Dragon,” said Etihad Club.
