NRB publishes today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the official foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is NPR 136.99, while the selling rate is NPR 137.59.

The buying rate for one euro has been set at NPR 160.12 and the selling rate at NPR 160.82. One UK pound sterling is being bought at NPR 185.20 and sold at NPR 186.01.

Similarly, the Swiss franc is being bought at NPR 171.97 and sold at NPR 172.72. The Australian dollar’s buying and selling rates are NPR 90.21 and NPR 90.60 respectively, while the Canadian dollar stands at NPR 100.06 for buying and NPR 100.50 for selling. The Singapore dollar is being bought at NPR 107.04 and sold at NPR 107.50.

The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is NPR 9.32 and the selling rate is NPR 9.36. The Chinese yuan is being bought at NPR 19.11 and sold at NPR 19.20.

The Saudi riyal’s buying rate is NPR 36.53 and the selling rate is NPR 36.69. Likewise, the Qatari riyal is being bought at NPR 37.59 and sold at NPR 37.75.

For other currencies, the Thai baht is being bought at NPR 4.22 and sold at NPR 4.24, while the UAE dirham is being bought at NPR 37.30 and sold at NPR 37.46. The Malaysian ringgit has a buying rate of NPR 32.21 and a selling rate of NPR 32.36.

The South Korean won is trading at NPR 9.96 for buying and NPR 10.01 for selling. The Swedish kronor is priced at NPR 14.36 for buying and NPR 14.42 for selling, while the Danish kronor stands at NPR 21.46 for buying and NPR 21.55 for selling.

Likewise, the Hong Kong dollar has a buying rate of NPR 17.45 and a selling rate of NPR 17.53. The Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at NPR 448.24 and sold at NPR 450.20. The Bahraini dinar has a buying rate of NPR 363.38 and a selling rate of NPR 364.97, and the Omani rial is priced at NPR 355.84 for buying and NPR 357.40 for selling.

For the Indian currency, the buying rate of 100 Indian rupees is NPR 160.00, while the selling rate is NPR 160.15.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates are subject to change as required, and the rates provided by commercial banks may vary. Updated rates can be accessed on the central bank’s official website.
