One killed by lightning strike in Kailali



KAILALI: A 26-year-old man died after being struck by lightning in Kailali today. The deceased has been identified as Upendra Bahadur Shahi from Jhilaka, Ward No. 2 of Gauriganga Municipality, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Rajkumar Singh of the District Police Office, Kailali.

Shahi was walking in a field near his home when the lightning struck, causing his death on the spot. Deputy Superintendent Singh said that an investigation into the incident is currently underway.
