One dead, two injured in motorcycle collision in Sundhara



KATHMANDU: One person died and two others were injured in a motorcycle collision in Sundhara, Kathmandu on Monday.

The accident occurred in front of Kathmandu Mall in Metropolitan Ward-22 when a motorcycle (Ba 34 Pa 4320) collided head-on with another (Ra 7 Pa 8795).

According to District Police Spokesperson SP Apilraj Bohora, 46-year-old Santosh Kumar Gurung of Imadol, Lalitpur—originally from Aanbukhaireni, Tanahun—who was riding the Ba 34 Pa 4320 motorcycle, died during treatment at the National Trauma Centre.

Police said one passenger on the same motorcycle and the rider of the second motorcycle were also injured and are undergoing treatment at the same hospital.
