Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has released today’s (Wednesday) foreign currency exchange rates, reflecting a decrease in the value of all foreign currencies.

The exchange rates for major currencies, including the US dollar, Australian dollar, British pound, euro, as well as the Kuwaiti and Bahraini dinars, have all fallen.

In particular, the Kuwaiti and Bahraini dinars have experienced a more substantial decline than the other currencies.

According to the exchange rates published by Nepal Rastra Bank, the buying rate for one US dollar today is 138 rupees and 63 paisa, while the selling rate is 139 rupees and 23 paisa.

Yesterday, the buying rate for one US dollar was 139 rupees and 67 paisa, with a selling rate of 140 rupees and 27 paisa.

On the same date last year (Magh 25), the buying rate for one US dollar was 139 rupees and 83 paisa, and the selling rate was 140 rupees and 43 paisa.

This was the highest exchange rate for the US dollar in the Nepali market to date.

In addition, the buying rate for one euro today is 143 rupees and 2 paisa, with a selling rate of 143 rupees and 64 paisa. Yesterday, the buying rate for one euro was 144 rupees and 33 paisa, and the selling rate was 144 rupees and 95 paisa.

Similarly, the buying rate for one British pound today is 171 rupees and 40 paisa, while the selling rate is 172 rupees and 14 paisa.

Yesterday, the buying rate for one pound was 173 rupees and 24 paisa, and the selling rate was 173 rupees and 98 paisa.

For the Australian dollar, the buying rate today is 86 rupees and 97 paisa, with a selling rate of 87 rupees and 35 paisa.

Yesterday, the buying rate for one Australian dollar was 87 rupees and 74 paisa, and the selling rate was 88 rupees and 12 paisa.

The buying rate for one Kuwaiti dinar today is 448 rupees and 77 paisa, while the selling rate is 450 rupees and 71 paisa.

Yesterday, the buying rate for one Kuwaiti dinar was 452 rupees and 33 paisa, and the selling rate was 454 rupees and 27 paisa.

Similarly, the buying rate for one Bahraini dinar today is 367 rupees and 74 paisa, and the selling rate is 379 rupees and 33 paisa.

Yesterday, the buying rate for one Bahraini dinar was 370 rupees and 53 paisa, with a selling rate of 372 rupees and 11 paisa.
