Gold price up by Rs 1,600 per tola today



KATHMANDU: The prices of gold and silver have both increased today in the domestic market.

Gold has increased by 1,600 rupees per tola, reaching a price of 155,700 rupees per tola, according to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Federation.

Last Thursday and Friday, gold had risen by 8,800 rupees per tola, while on Wednesday, the price increased by 500 rupees per tola. Last Friday, gold was traded at 154,100 rupees per tola.

In addition to gold, the price of silver has also gone up by 15 rupees per tola, now standing at 1,860 rupees per tola. On Friday, silver was priced at 1,845 rupees per tola.
