Rabi Lamichhane appears in Kathmandu District Court



KATHMANDU: Rabi Lamichhane, Chairman of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), appeared at the Kathmandu District Court today (Sunday).

He attended in person, facing allegations of fraud at Kathmandu’s Swarna Laxmi Cooperative.

Previously released on bail regarding a fraud case at Pokhara’s Suryadarshan Cooperative, former Home Minister Lamichhane arrived in Kathmandu on the evening of January 9.

Lamichhane is also implicated in fraud cases at Rupandehi’s Supreme Cooperative, Chitwan’s Sahara Chitwan, and Parsa’s Sano Paila Cooperative, with legal proceedings underway to register cases against him in those districts as well.
