UML Secretariat meeting postponed after Oli falls ill



KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML Secretariat meeting scheduled for Saturday has been postponed after party Chair KP Sharma Oli fell ill, according to party office secretary Dr. Bhishma Adhikari.

The meeting will now take place on Sunday.

Dr. Adhikari said Sunday’s session will allow Secretariat members who had not yet spoken to share their views on the country’s current political situation.

According to him, Deputy General Secretaries Prithvi Subba Gurung and Bishnu Rimal, along with secretaries Yogesh Bhattarai, Chhabilal Bishwakarma, Padma Aryal, Gokarna Bista, Raghuji Pant, and Lekhraj Bhatta, are scheduled to present their remarks.

The UML Central Committee meeting is set to be held in Kathmandu from October 15 to 17.
