President to hold talks with Gen-Z representatives today

KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Poudel has invited representatives of the Gen-Z movement for talks scheduled for 9 a.m. today (Saturday).

According to the President’s Press Advisor, Kiran Pokharel, Prime Minister Sushila Karki will also take part in the meeting. Government Spokesperson Jagadish Kharel confirmed that the government will be represented in the discussion.

On Friday, President Paudel held separate talks with party leaders and the Prime Minister. During the meeting, President Paudel urged the political parties to focus on the upcoming elections, calling them essential for safeguarding the constitution, democracy, and stability.

The discussion also helped to reestablish communication between the parties and the government, which had been strained in recent days.
