Curfew lifted in Dhankuta

DHANKUTA: The local administration in Dhankuta has lifted the curfew, allowing daily life to gradually resume, officials said Wednesday.

Chief District Officer Shivram Gelal stated that the decision to lift the curfew was made as the situation in the district has improved.

However, prohibitory orders remain in effect, and the administration has urged residents to avoid gathering in large groups until further notice.

The curfew had been in place from 5 pm Wednesday to 6 am Thursday. Authorities said they will review the situation and take additional measures if necessary.
