Four parliamentary committees to convene today



KATHMANDU: Four committees of the Federal Parliament are scheduled to hold meetings today.

According to the official agenda, the Finance Committee, Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee, Agriculture, Cooperatives and Natural Resources Committee, and the Legislative Management Committee will convene.

The Finance Committee will conduct a clause-wise discussion on the Bill to Make Provisions Regarding the Mobilization of Alternative Development Finance.

The Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee will hold a clause-wise review of the Nepal Lawyers Council (Second Amendment) Bill, 2081.

The Agriculture, Cooperatives and Natural Resources Committee will also carry out a clause-wise discussion on preparations for the Hindu Kush Himalayan Parliaments Meet-2025.

Meanwhile, the Legislative Management Committee is set to hold a preliminary (principled) discussion on the Nepal Citizenship (Second Amendment) Bill, 2081.
