Nepalis allowed to carry $3,000 on foreign trips



KATHMANDU: The limit on the amount of foreign currency Nepalis can carry while traveling abroad has been increased to $3,000.

Nepal Rastra Bank Governor Bishwo Poudel announced the revised limit while unveiling the monetary policy for fiscal year 2025/26. Previously, the cap was set at $2,500.
