Five arrested with 40 kg of marijuana



KATHMANDU: Nepal Police have arrested five individuals in possession of 40 kilograms of marijuana. According to Apil Raj Bohara, Information Officer at the District Police Range, Kathmandu, those arrested include Nirajan Chepang, Prakash Chepang, and Shankar Chepang of Gajuri-4, Dhading, along with Jeevan Praja and Suman Chepang of Maharajgunj, Kathmandu.

Police also seized Rs 125,000 in cash from the group. The suspects had allegedly stored the marijuana in a tent belonging to Sunnam Chepang in Koteshwor, Kathmandu, and were involved in its sale and distribution.
