POKHARA: Four individuals were rescued unharmed by the Armed Police Force (APF) after a paragliding accident in Pokhara on Wednesday afternoon.
According to authorities, two paragliders that took off from Torepani in Pokhara Metropolitan City-18 lost control while attempting to land and crashed into the middle of Phewa Lake.
The incident occurred around 3 pm, and rescue personnel from APF, stationed at the Fewa Rescue Tower, responded promptly and successfully rescued all four individuals on board.
According to DSP Shailendra Thapa, the rescued passengers include 41-year-old Aklesh Yadav and 35-year-old Chandan Kumar Patel, both Indian nationals from Varanasi.
The pilots were identified as 30-year-old Milan Shah of Agni Paragliding and 28-year-old Bishwas Adhikari of Happy Fly Paragliding.
Authorities confirmed that all individuals were unharmed in the incident.
