Cloudy skies with rain and thunder likely today



KATHMANDU: Weather conditions across Nepal are expected to be mostly cloudy today as western and local winds influence the western and central regions, while monsoon winds continue to affect Koshi Province.

Light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning is likely in some areas, with snowfall possible in higher elevations.

According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the weather will be partly to generally cloudy across the country this afternoon, with chances of light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in some places.

Light rain and snowfall are also possible at one or two locations in the high hilly and mountainous regions.

Tonight, the weather will remain partly to generally cloudy nationwide, with a similar possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some areas. Light rain and snowfall may also occur at a few places in the high hills and mountains.
