Dr. Bishwo Paudel resigns from NRB governor recommendation committee



KATHMANDU: Dr. Bishwo Paudel has resigned from the Nepal Rastra Bank’s Governor Recommendation Committee. He submitted his resignation to Finance Minister and committee coordinator Bishnu Paudel.

A consensus between the ruling Nepali Congress and CPN-UML had been reached to appoint Paudel as the new governor.

The committee is coordinated by Finance Minister Paudel and also includes outgoing governor Maha Prasad Adhikari as a member. A new member will now be appointed to replace Paudel on the committee.
