NEPSE declines by 11.53 points, turnover exceeds Rs 10 billion



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) fell by 11.53 points on Sunday, closing the day at 2,650.11 points.

Despite the decline, the market recorded a significant turnover of Rs 10.20 billion, with 24.011 million shares changing hands.

Among the trading sectors, Hotel and Tourism emerged as the top gainer, climbing by 417.56 points, followed by Development Bank, which rose by 67.55 points. In contrast, the Finance sector witnessed the steepest drop, plunging by 94.69 points.

Out of the total listed companies, share prices of 84 firms increased while 164 saw a decline.
