KAVREPALANCHOWK: A driver died on the spot after a tipper accident on the Helambu Highway in Mandandeupur Municipality-7, Kavre.
According to the District Police Office, Kavre, the incident occurred on Sunday morning while the tipper (Ba 4 Kha 3363) was transporting sand from the Indrawati River to Panchkhal.
The vehicle rolled back and plunged approximately 100 meters down a slope, killing the driver, 47-year-old Lavakush Adhikari of Suryagadhi Rural Municipality-7, Nuwakot.
This follows a similar incident on March 13 in Mandandeupur-2, Thakurigaun, where 31-year-old driver Binod Ghorasaini died after being crushed while reversing a tipper to unload sand at a hotel construction site.
