Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the official foreign exchange rates for Sunday. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is fixed at NPR 136.30, while the selling rate stands at NPR 136.90.

The buying rate for one euro is set at NPR 153.39 and the selling rate at NPR 154.07. For the British pound sterling, the buying rate is NPR 180.97 and the selling rate is NPR 181.77. Similarly, the Swiss franc is being bought at NPR 164.09 and sold at NPR 164.81.

The Australian dollar’s buying and selling rates are NPR 87.27 and NPR 87.66, respectively. The Canadian dollar is being bought at NPR 97.94 and sold at NPR 98.38. The Singapore dollar is priced at NPR 105.05 for buying and NPR 105.51 for selling.

According to NRB, 10 Japanese yen are being bought for NPR 9.39 and sold for NPR 9.43, while one Chinese yuan is priced at NPR 18.82 for buying and NPR 18.91 for selling. The Saudi Arabian riyal is being traded at NPR 36.34 (buying) and NPR 36.50 (selling), while the Qatari riyal stands at NPR 37.39 and NPR 37.56 respectively.

One Thai baht is being bought at NPR 4.13 and sold at NPR 4.15. The UAE dirham is priced at NPR 37.11 for buying and NPR 37.27 for selling, while the Malaysian ringgit is traded at NPR 31.72 (buying) and NPR 31.86 (selling).

Likewise, the buying rate for 100 South Korean won is NPR 9.74 and the selling rate is NPR 9.78. The Swedish kronor is set at NPR 14.05 (buying) and NPR 14.11 (selling), and the Danish kronor at NPR 20.56 and NPR 20.65, respectively.

NRB has also set the rate for one Hong Kong dollar at NPR 17.52 (buying) and NPR 17.60 (selling). The Kuwaiti dinar is valued at NPR 444.35 for buying and NPR 444.31 for selling. The Bahraini dinar is priced at NPR 361.52 (buying) and NPR 363.11 (selling), while the Omani rial stands at NPR 354.05 (buying) and NPR 355.61 (selling).

Additionally, the exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at NPR 160.00 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling.
